Can we talk about the fact that companies are not transparent and don't want to ask for people's consent before they use their personal data to train AI, then regulators (especially in Europe) intervene, and then these companies' CEOs write open letters to complain that "regulation is too uncertain"?

"Meta says the European regulatory environment is too 'unpredictable'"

Translation: Meta prefers Zuckerberg's "move fast and break things" mode. The EU has been regulating tech (GDPR, DMA, DSA, AI Act, etc.), so Meta and other big tech companies are trying to use economic and political pressure to change that and, at the same time, influence public opinion against tech regulation.
