If I don’t wake up to a ranked ASU tomorrow I am going to become the joker

[Paola Boivin @PaolaBoivin]

I am painfully ill-equipped to emotionally handle the success of the sports teams I’m following. Why do I need angst and hand-wringing in my sports life? I need help.

[Aidan Richmond @AidanRich_ENG]

Honestly the cardinals leading the division after 8 weeks is enough of a prize for me. It’s more than I could have expected and I’m very happy to see it.

[Aidan Richmond @AidanRich_ENG]

@666killchopdel1 It’s worse when I actually had hope and only got two hours of sleep so I could personally watch my team disappoint me

[Aidan Richmond @AidanRich_ENG]

Dbacks blowing an 8-0 lead and that wiped out pick six have made me further despise the sports hell that is this state

[Aidan Richmond @AidanRich_ENG]

@zebraonice @KellanOlson Definitely all winnable, I’m just cautious about overestimating the step up ASU has taken. They’ve already proven (I feel) that this team is much better than anything ASU has had for the past 3 years, it’s just matter of how much. Ideal would be a bowl game berth I think.

[Aidan Richmond @AidanRich_ENG]

@TheOGcolt @KellanOlson I would love that more than anything it’s just hard to imagine with how hard the schedule looks now. But I also didn’t think ASU would win more than one of their first three, so we’ll see.

I’m trying so hard to not believe the “Dodgers won’t win the NL West in 2024” story but I want it to come true so bad.

Before the Padres were an enemy but in a strange way I think they are an ally now. Kind of a Godzilla vs Kong situation in having a common enemy to topple.

[Aidan Richmond @AidanRich_ENG]

All that and still at #9 in the latest https://t.co/aiM01oGzQz power rankings…

[MLB @MLB]

Things the @Dbacks lead MLB in since June 1:

- Win percentage (.661, 41-21)
- Runs per game (5.9)
- Batting average (.279)
- On-base percentage (.351)
- Slugging percentage (.483)

If you look at your finished bracket and go "yeah, this all makes sense" then it's a bad bracket.

Go back and randomly flip like 16 picks.

It'll be a mediocre one either way but at least swing for the fences.

[Aidan Richmond @AidanRich_ENG]

UNM is a very solid team that seemingly got a much needed wake-up call from their loss to Air Force just a month ago. Lobos have all the pieces necessary to be a dangerous team in March, I hope we can all see them last a couple rounds at least.

@PaolaBoivin @Cronkite_ASU @VDAliesio @VarsityShow I must also take this time to commend FOX on their fast, friendly and transparent interview process. Everyone I spoke with has given me the utmost confidence and has been a true professional. Thank you to the team there and I can't wait to get started.

[Aidan Richmond @AidanRich_ENG]

Hey y'all it's my turn with the employment posting. I am so excited to be joining the team at FOX Tech as a Master Control Operator.

I have so many people to thank, but perhaps none more than @PaolaBoivin of @Cronkite_ASU and @VDAliesio
of @VarsityShow for getting me here.

[Aidan Richmond @AidanRich_ENG]

@PaolaBoivin @Cronkite_ASU @VDAliesio @VarsityShow 240 characters isn't really enough to say enough and thank enough people, but I must thank all my wonderful professors and peers who have been huge in my personal and professional development. I am overjoyed to put job hunting behind me, especially to join an org like FOX.
