Train Managers are not against modernisation but the RB should be aware that the Running Staff will carry another two bags to carry their personal effects to be on-duty for 12 to 15 hrs in a single spell & to stay at out-staton for 72 hours. (1/2)

Duty schedules of Guards are very erratic. Guards will have to work for 12 to 20 hours at a stretch and remain away from their base station for 72 hours. After returning HQ, allowed to stay for 16 hours only

Guards are already carrying bits & bobs in valise and tote bags for their long spell of duty and 72 hours stay at out-station. Another bag of 30 Safety items supplied by Rlys (15kgs) is a herculean task.

The role of the Guard (Train Manager) is pivotal for secured and safe transition of freight and lives of the travelling public. Withdrawal of line box may have a negative impact.

Many B/Vans will not have Seats, Writing Table.Guards use their Line Box as seat and Table. Poor Pay Scales, Poor Working conditions and Poor response for their Concerns from administration led to frustration

During night Guards have to hold Walky-Talky in one hand and torchlight in another hand. How to carry all the weight. Have no option except to balance on their head like a Coolie.Stop elimination of line box.

The Personal Equipment supplied to Guards is essential to ensure Safety & Punctuality. All along, these tools were secured in a Steel Box. Now Railways directed Guards to carry this equipment

Guard (Train Manager) already carries about of 15 kgs personal bag as they will have to be away from his/her home for 72 hours. Extra bag of Government Property weights about another 15/20 Kgs is burden on Guards

Some times our chair will be not in appropriate position,
then we use to sit on the Guard line box.Some times we use line box as our dining table.
Kindly restore line boxes.
