@NHM_Oology@ChrisGPackham What species' egg is this, please? It seemed very large! Found on a peat bog in Sutherland and pictured beside a size 11 welly.
@IoloWilliams2@SussexUni Plenty of this going on in @Edinburgh_CC this week. But having listened back, it seems quite in line with the advice at https://t.co/uBzGvMvYtb 58m55s
@Joseph_Fasano_ My Poem (Grand Day)
My name is Paeonie.
Today I feel like a drowned rat parading in the twixtiverse.
Sometimes I am a mess.
Sometimes I am a fable.
But always I am still.
I ask the world “Are we still on?”
And the answer is
a drowned rat parading in the twixtiverse.
Today, landowner John Price was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment for the destruction of 1.5km of the protected River Lugg.
Together with @NaturalEngland, we welcome this sentence and will continue to work hard to restore the health of our rivers.

@FlowerdewBob There's an upside to peat gardening on show here, but there's an enormous downside in fact. Undisturbed peat bogs are so precious. It's our honour to make responsible choices.
No sooner was my twitter account restored, then my internet went down yesterday morning, only just restored. So here is a rather late @ChrisGPackham#FoxOfTheDay. Charlie and friend in an Autumnal still-life.
@ChrisMasonBBC@BBCSounds I have a question - a number of the new ministers are saying they've been "appointed by The King" - is this officially true? I thought that was just the PM. And what's the politics of them all wanting to ((or having been told to)) say so? #newscast@adamfleming
