@fedcalderon7@JHard83@needGod_net Christ saves. Faith receives. God works in us. Love obeys. Obedience does not add to Christ’s righteousness or pay for salvation. It is God working in the believer by faith. See John 6:40, Eph 2:8-10, Phil 2:13, Gal 5:6, John 14:15, 1 John 5:3.
@fedcalderon7@JHard83@needGod_net obedience does not save us or add one ounce to Christ’s righteousness. Real faith obeys because God changes the heart. That’s why Jesus can say, “If ye love me, keep my commandments,” without making commandments the payment for salvation.
@GigaBasedDad Numbers don’t prove truth. Scripture keeps showing the saved as the smaller remnant. Noah wasn’t the majority. The prophets weren’t the majority. Jesus said broad is the way to destruction, and many go that way. Narrow is the way to life, and few find it.
@Drift0r @Deadlydill I wouldn’t judge God by the actions of sinful men. People abusing Scripture does not make God evil. It proves why men need God in the first place.
