@BballMichael@ChuckRossDC@NateSilver538 That's such a small fraction of a players Career. Donovan never would have stuck around teams like Dortmund, Chelsea, or AC Milan
@Ceruti Reminds me of his goal against Nigeria in the world cup. I like the Nigeria one a touch better because his first 3 touches on that one were immaculate
@JFreshHockey I've never understood the Ceci apologists. Saw far too many games while he was on the leafs where he just stood there not tying up a stick, or taking the body.
@JeffVeillette Should the leafs target free agents that would have the potential to be flipped at a deadline, whether this one or a future one. Also, it's been kind of baffling that the leafs haven't acquired many 2nd/3rd round draft picks over the years. Should that be a priority now
@JFreshHockey Hockey is the only sport that does this as far as I can tell. Also from Wyshynski's article it seems like that particular precedent was set in 98
@xbdhdhj@Ole_is_right Uganda’s Jacob Kiplimo set a new half marathon world record of 57:20
That's a 4:22 mile pace over 13 miles. Is that not both running fast and for a long time. Do you not think that is a supreme athletic feat? Even if he can't squat 500 pounds and jump 40 inches.
@xbdhdhj@Ole_is_right Uhmm. Are marathon runners not athletic? If you run long distances it's disadvantageous to carry extra muscle.
Being fast in sprinting and lifting heavy weights surely can't be the only metric you use for athleticism.
@KyleDupedUs The guy doesn't take care of the puck. It's great having rare offensive moments but when you don't take care of the puck in the offensive zone you end up turning it over and chasing it, hence the awful defensive numbers.
