Today, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department announced it is shifting its approach in the search for Nancy Guthrie.

Officials said the investigation remains active and will continue until she is located or every lead has been thoroughly pursued. However, resources are now being consolidated under detectives dedicated specifically to the case.

The department added that patrol units will still maintain a visible presence in Guthrie’s neighborhood as the investigation moves forward.

Comcast crews returned to Nancy’s residence again this morning to finish installing cameras. Comcast has now left the property, while one private contractor remains at the residence.

Investigation: This remains an active investigation and will continue until Nancy Guthrie is located or all leads have been exhausted. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is refocusing resources to detectives specifically assigned to this case. As leads are developed and resolved, resource allocation may fluctuate. PCSD will maintain a patrol presence in the Guthrie neighborhood.

Investigators continue to review hundreds of hours of surveillance footage, and we thank those who have already provided video to assist in this investigation.
Nearby Arrest: Shortly before 8:00 p.m. on February 26, 2026, deputies arrested 34-year-old Antonio De Jesus Pena-Campos in front of Nancy Guthrie’s home on misdemeanor DUI charges. This arrest is not related to the Guthrie investigation. PIOs do not provide police reports. Reports must be requested through [email protected].

So this was just discussed.....AND I think @mikerreports can help us here, as he was the one who found the camera and I believe, Mike correct me if I am wrong, he was out looking for cameras, and found this one and talked to the homeowners who advised they had tried to get someone to look at it but no one showed up from Law Enforcement.
Mike was given the footage, published it, and then the FBI came and retrieved it!!
