Oh yeah so hard while the guy is out for 12 hours doing back breaking labor in 100 degree heat we have a mom bitching about having the hold the kid and feed it while she watches tv all day. Then when the father gets home from his back breaking job has to immediately start taking care of the child can’t even shower and eat first. She gets to take a break but the husband has to work 12 hours then come home and do her job as well.

Matthew 1:25 does not say Mary had marital relations after Jesus’ birth. It says Joseph “knew her not until she had borne a son,” but in biblical language “until” does not necessarily imply a change afterward (e.g., someone can be said not to do something until a certain point without implying they did it later). Catholics therefore do not see this verse as disproving Mary’s perpetual virginity.

The references to Jesus’ “brothers” are also not decisive evidence of other children of Mary, because the Greek and Hebrew usage of “brother” can include relatives such as cousins or kin. Early Christianity widely held that Mary remained a virgin.
