Firefighters from around Sonoma County battled a 2nd alarm apartment fire last night. The Redwood Fire kept units on scene about four hours ensuring the all hotspots were extinguished. #sebastopol#sebastopolfire
The #ElectraFire backs down to the Mokelumne River near the fires origin late on the night of July 5th. Earlier in the day, helicopters and ground crews worked to keep the fire in check off the end of Quail Drive. A large firing operation is planned for this evening.
A copter works the #ElectraFire this evening as an engine crew hikes back up the hill. The fire is mostly backing down the drainage, still putting up a significant smoke column however.
Tankers 82, 83 and 91 come in to land at the Santa Rosa Airport while on a load and return to the #ScenicFire just outside of Port Costa in Contra Costa County. The fire is currently 108 acres and fire activity has moderated.

@kdavidsmith1 In this video from yesterday, firefighters were standing by with hoses at the ready. Today there's still many firefighters and engines assigned putting out hotspots and strengthening containment lines.
The airshow had a heavy presence with up to 7 tankers and 2 helicopters working the fire at a time. Firefighters will work through out the night to keep the #OldFire from growing more.
The #OldFire burned at least 520 acres outside of Napa today drawing a large response from both the air and ground. As of now, the fire appears to have died down although official containment still stands at 5%.
Santa Rosa, Sonoma County and Graton Fire departments handled a large outbuilding fire last night in West Santa Rosa. The building was fully involved on arrival forcing firefighters to focus on keeping the fire from extending to the adjacent business.
The #WalkerFire gutted one vacant building and burned a small shed to the ground in downtown Sebastopol this evening. The 2nd alarm fire drew a heavy response from Sebastopol, Gold Ridge, Graton and Santa Rosa Fire Departments. @soconews_seb_wc@NorthBayNews@KPIXtv
