@bookingcom I get how it’s out of your control whether or not the hotel I booked through your website is closed or not. However, what is in your control is to fulfill your promise of reimbursing me for my replacement stay. Instead your customer service team are all very non responsive.
@bookingcom I provided the itinerary receipt as well as a credit card charge with billing statements, but they said the itinerary has to show 0 balance. It’s been impossible to get my money back and every time I call it’s a different representative that I have to tell the same
@bookingcom which we had to pay for and get reimbursed later. We thought that’s great but little did we know they wouldn’t…..till this day I have called their customer service 20 times and every time they tell me a different thing. I have yet to be compensated.
@bookingcom after checking in I called Customer Service again and they confirmed my original hotel is closed. They said they will find me another booking for the remainder of our trip. The only availability was a chalet 20 mins away by car. It also cost $2000 for the two nights
@bookingcom I walked all over town to ask hotels if they had any vacancy 29th to the 1st of Jan. Of course nothing. Except one hotel that could only accommodate us for one night. I was also traveling with my soon to be fiancee because I wanted to propose there.
@bookingcom When I called customer service they said they need 24-48hours to confirm that the hotel is closed. After confirmation they can reimburse our booking fee and help us look for another spot. Keep in mind this is Chamonix a small town in the winter time at night!
@bookingcom has THE worst customer service ever. Booked a NYE French alps hotel with them and when we got there the hotel was CLOSED! No notice from the hotel or @bookingcom. We had nowhere to stay in a small town because all the hotels were booked for the weekend.
