Inside Our Factory: A new parachute system is now installed on the #Starliner spacecraft that will soon perform our Crew Flight Test.
This upgraded design improves the system's soft links, reinforces its main parachute suspension, and strengthens its radial line.
Thrilled to stop by a hidden gem in Santa Ana this weekend—Airborne Systems, our community's gateway to space innovation.
They support over 400 jobs here, and develop parachute systems used by NASA and the military, including the historic NASA Mars Perseverance landing!
And that's a wrap! Airborne Days has officially returned, and we're thrilled to have welcomed 18 countries to Arizona and spend 3 days showing them the reason Airborne Systems is leading the industry #AirborneDays
Happy Mothers Day to all the moms, grandmas, great grandma's, and future moms in our AS community 🫶

"We are all part of something incredibly special - the first launch of #Artemis."
Join us as we look back at the @NASAArtemis I mission that began with the launch of #NASASLS and ended with the splashdown of @NASA_Orion.
Check out our next mission: https://t.co/QFbBK0DGcm
“UFO” was a good guess, but this is actually the revolutionary LOFTID inflatable hypersonic heat shield demo. (No, the outboard skiff is not a new ultra low cost commercial recovery concept. We’ll stick with the ship and crane conops)… ;)
Happy Easter Weekend! 🐥
