We are a drone operation crew in the Town of Acushnet with a goal to help show the hidden gem of our small part of Massachusetts from a different perspective.
@prttydelia This is an excellent example of how more than one person can come to the same solution and only one person gets the job. The process matters.
With the very high kP indices and the ongoing Geomagnetic Storm (G4) status... we are refraining from putting any of our UAVs (Drones) in the air... but the view of the sky from the ground is breathtaking tonight. Look north!

Some photos from the damage resulting form the recent storms in Acushnet on July 3rd, 2025. Amazing response by local emergency responders and neighbors to get help where it needed to be quickly and efficiently.
@WX1BOX
My broadcast capability has been up and down this evening, so if the live stream goes down, check back on the youtube channel as it will likely be back up soon.
Putting our communications skills to a different use tonight. Live audio of Amateur Radio Hurricane Watch Net (14.325mhz) & the @Voipwxnet communications as they relay information from areas impacted by #HurricaneMilton to the NHC in Miami.

Public safety radio audio (Scanner audio) from today's working structure fire in New Bedford to go along with the photos and video that we captured on the tail end of the incident.

Some aerial/drone video of response to a structure fire on Ludlow St in New Bedford, MA. The main bulk of the fire was knocked before I got there & got cleared to go airborn, but still some decent shots!
