@thequizoning Like obviously a woman with her body type who can break her bones by rolling over in bed and who needs a full time carer for herself is probably not in a situation where she can be a capable parent. But she's also an outlier, and disabled people aren't a monolith based on her.
@thequizoning Problem is your question is flawed. Plenty of disabled people are capable of being parents, and plenty of able-bodied people are VERY incapable of being parents. Using this extreme case of disability from a reality TV show as a proof to your question is extremely flawed.
@mothra107 It's not, no. The leg movements are far more exaggerated here. Additionally there's only so many ways you can animate a pegasus in flight. Similar? Yes, in the same way that "generic western dragon" is also similar for the same reason: it's the same damn animal.
@MuseZack People assume "survival of the fittest" means animals are inherently selfish. The reality is that "survival of the fittest" in social mammals means that the family that stays together, reinforces social bonds and cares about one another survives where lone individuals would die.
@PuddiTatLevi TERFs once again helping protect the sexual abusers of men, too. Look at all the "Well uhm acktually it was a man so it's not" comments - obvs transphobic, but also as if sexually assaulting a man in this way just. Isn't? Sexual assault? Like a man couldn't ever be a victim? Sick
@omgyayykarmin Ludwig was frankly nicer about it than he had any right to be given the actual video thumbnail and title was far worse. Still good on him for doing it. Common W.
@Aerthfs The worst thing about this misogyny is also how it ignores Zack and Cloud's friendship, too. Like, you just watched the cutscene where Zack's not only not mad about it, he still deeply cares for Cloud and is determined to help him. Why carry a grudge that even Zack doesn't? Dumb.
@PinkNews Fixed it for you: "JK Rowling NOT jailed for sexually assaulting a trans woman and then posting it on the internet as revenge porn. Says the rapist equivalent of "She was asking for it." in her own defence."
@DoobieCartoonie TERFs have always pushed an agenda that ultimately makes them behave like the average misogynist, and that includes this rapist-adjacent behaviour of sexually assaulting women and then saying the equivalent of "Well, they asked for it." They do not care about women's safety.
That Ktisis situation is honestly so sad. I don't think the devs did anything with malice but given the current state of the world writ large, it's so hard to walk back what is in effect "Well AI was used, but re-wrote it, and you wouldn't have known if not for the comments."
@JLFinch2@tbh_46 It does seem unlikely because it would be *emphatically stupid* for an employer to fire somebody during probation three hours after that person discloses they are pregnant, because it so obviously leaves them open to Automatic Unfairness in a courtroom. People are, also, stupid.
@JLFinch2@tbh_46 It's on the employer to prove that in a court of law, and if there's been no processes, citations or communications prior to that interaction, they're going to have one HELL of a time proving that dismissal from probation WASN'T discrimination due to pregnancy.
@sandyaugusts I'm the same way, and I just avoid EDA/ETA. In a game with this many frames and weapons, randomly assigned loadouts are always just going to feel bad in super endgame content - especially if they're combined with modifiers that immediately kill 80%-90% of your collection.
@jnsulz Genuinely: lawyer up. Your place of employment will have to prove their grounds for dismissal was a considered and fair and NOT related to you disclosing pregnancy - and the fact they went straight for dismissal after disclosure puts you in a STRONG winning position in court.
@jnsulz Assuming you're in the UK, this is extremely illegal - you CANNOT be fired from a probationary period for pregnancy, that's discrimination. Lawyer up because this is the easiest case in the world. Dismissal for pregnancy is legally "Automatically Unfair", end of story.
@PabloMakes Personally speaking, I have never run either of these modes because I just have no interest in RNG loadouts (and even less interest in them when combined with frankly absurd modifiers.) Hildryn might need a tweak but I don't think she's actually THE problem with this mode.
@AP Didn't realise the reaper had a two for the price of one deal when he took Mitch. Good for him, though! Truly a deal of all time. Couldn't have happened to more deserving men. :)
@medicinesellers It is wild to me that this is a "Wow! Two cakes!" situation of two incredible adaptions and yet somehow people want to use one to tear the other apart. They're both good! The presence of the other only helps uplift BOTH! A rising tide raises all ships! TWO CAKES!!!
