Rhys Ifans as Spike in Notting Hill (1999) walks into a rom-com and turns it into something feral. Every line lands sideways, every entrance hijacks the scene. Hugh Grant is doing movie star charm while Ifans is busy blowing holes through the frame.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) was dismissed on release, but time has been kind to it. A rare studio film that chooses sincerity over cynicism. It doesn’t chase spectacle. It invites you to step into the world and actually live in it.
#JuliaRoberts tells #SeanPenn during their #ActorsOnActors conversation that "shame is underrated these days" while discussing today's society:
"I think shame is underrated these days. It’s got a bad name this decade. Why shouldn’t people be ashamed of things? Hold on to it for a while and reenter with some more humility."

Kadang‑kadang bila saya baca berita sebegini, saya nampak bayang diri saya sendiri.
Tanyalah khabar mereka. Beritahu bahawa anda sayang mereka kerana kesihatan mental mereka juga perlu diberikan perhatian.
I condemn in the strongest terms Israel’s interception of the Global Sumud Flotilla. These vessels carried unarmed civilians and life-saving humanitarian supplies for Gaza, yet they were met with intimidation and coercion.
By blocking a humanitarian mission, Israel has shown utter contempt not only for the rights of the Palestinian people but also for the conscience of the world. The flotilla embodied solidarity, compassion and the hope of relief for those under blockade.
Malaysia will use all legitimate and lawful means at our disposal to ensure that Israel is held to account, especially in matters concerning Malaysian citizens. The safety and dignity of our people are paramount, and we will not allow them to be compromised with impunity.
As long as the Palestinian people are denied their fundamental rights and aspirations, Malaysia will stand unflinchingly with them. We will not relent in demanding an end to the injustice and dispossession that have plagued Palestine for generations.

A bulletproof vest could not have saved Charlie Kirk; he was shot in the neck.
The security he had did not save or protect him.
If he had a gun, it wouldn’t have mattered either, because the shot was reportedly from a sniper 200 yards away.
The only thing that could’ve helped Charlie Kirk was more gun regulation, an idea that he and his peers are vehemently against.
