Kalaignar dismantled this barrier and paved for lot of Engineers today.

1️⃣ Appointed the Anandakrishnan Committee to prove the systemic bias of entrance exams.

2️⃣ Passed the TN Professional Educational Institutions Act, 2006 to base admissions strictly on normalized Class 12 board marks.

3️⃣ Secured Presidential Assent in 2007, making the law legally airtight against court challenges.

By replacing the coaching culture with classroom merit, Kalaignar democratized higher education and turned Tamil Nadu into an engineering powerhouse.
