Today I had the pleasure of meeting Nigeria’s finest & treasured industrialist, foremost philanthropist, deeply resourceful and highly intellectual elder statesman of repute, Alhaji Aminu Dantata.

We had over 3 hours of conversation around everything. Life, world history, business, politics, Nigerian evolution, including BRICS, etc and we also discussed about the future and what our generation need to do to reclaim Nigeria’s lost glory.

At 96 years old, I found him of sound mind and good health. He recalled everything, with dates & locations from 1940s till date. I was thrilled by his level of cognition, much more than most people even within our age bracket. Nothing short of the Grace of Allah surrounding him.

I’ve learnt a lot, much more than I’ve learned in any book or any classes I’ve been. What a treasure!

Baba is not just a blessing to Nigeria, but to Africa and the world. What fascinates me more about him is his highest sense of patriotism and deep believe in the Nigerian Project. I’m truly inspired.

He gave me his phone so that I can personally dial my phone number.

May Allah continue to bless him with sound health, mind and spirit, including his generations. And as he inherited from his preceding generations, a reputable, responsible and reliable family name, May Allah bless his proceeding generations continues growth in strength, peace, protection and prosperity forever and ever. Ameen.
