The most recent xenophobic attack on Nigerians is unacceptable and condemnable. These attacks now a routine expose the ugly underbelly of the South African system. The South Govt better stem this whirlwind now or it will have itself to blame.
I celebrated the Hijra today signifying the beginning of the #IslamicNewYear with the Chief Imam of Lagos, Deputy Speaker, LSHA and other Muslim faithful.

Initially, Shitta Roundabout was traffic prone due to road potholes. The drainage had collapsed, with waste water spilling onto the road. The situation became harrowing for motorists, residents&traders around the area. We moved in and did what was necessary. #surulereisworking
My attention was called to Obele Pry. Sch., where wind blew off the roofs over some classrooms. I quickly moved in to ensure safety of the pupils and teachers therein. Today, our children are being taught in an atmosphere conducive to learning.
