@tezilyas Fair play, I’d take world class to mean sth like ‘could reasonably expect to be in starting 11 of any team in the world at the time in which they are playing’
@ahsokaswonder The AT-AT walkers in the attack on Hoth have a terrible design and no serious army would employ them on snowy terrain if they had the technology to use tanks instead.
@MuseZack Boomerism but sometimes hear it among non-native, younger speakers who have learnt English to an advanced level. Might hear of a Mickey Mouse cup for a football trophy of dubious prestige.
@Real_jaeflex Westeros is clearly a continent in early seasons with lots of travelling hither and thither between locations then by the end they’re apparently teleporting around without the travelling part.
@Byrnxyz@Simply_Jason96@ClockEndH It’s not bullshit, mate. Shootouts are tiebreakers. Recording shootout outcomes as ‘winning/ losing the match’ would lead to distorted stats for players and managers more prominent in international football. Before shootouts there might’ve been a coin toss.
@Byrnxyz@Simply_Jason96@ClockEndH Penalty shootouts decide who wins the tournament/ progresses to the next round- not the match which has already ended as a draw. This applies to all official player and manager records.
@Jackalbion96 Yellow card was the correct decision but Gallagher’s deficient explanation as to why was part of the problem. It’s unclear there would have been a clear and obvious error to overturn had a red card been given.
