@StanChart Good morning please kindly confirm if there is any account that I can operate that will allow me to buy any stocks from any company. Or if there's any way I can do that with my savings account. Thank you
Some battles do not begin with us, yet we find ourselves confronting them. Certain patterns, struggles, and recurring challenges have a way of appearing across generations within families, communities, and even nations. What grandparents battled, parents struggled with, and children now face may reveal a cycle that has continued unchecked through the years.

Canadian🇨🇦 “compliments” that are actually polite insults
Canada has mastered the art of sounding nice while dragging you softly. These phrases look friendly on the surface, but the subtext is pure thorns wrapped in maple syrup.😂
🍁 “That’s interesting.”
Translation: I disagree completely, but I’m too polite to say it. Canadians use this to exit a conversation without fighting.
🍁 “You’re so brave for wearing that.”
Not praise, it means I would NEVER wear that, but good luck to you.
🍁“That’s actually really good.”
The “actually” exposes them; they expected you to flop.
🍁“I could never be that patient.”
Sounds admiring, but really means: That problem is yours, not mine.
🍁“You’re confident for someone your age.”
A compliment with an age‑based slap inside.
🍁“You’re so down to earth for someone so successful.
Translation: Successful people are usually unbearable, but you’re tolerable.
🍁“You look great, have you lost weight?”
They think they’re praising you… But they’re insulting your “before.”
🍁“You’re so articulate.”
Often means: I didn’t expect you to speak this well.
🍁“Good for you.”
Warm tone = support. Flat tone = I don’t care, let’s end this conversation.
🍁“Oh, that’s… different.”
The pause is the insult. “Different” = strange, but I’m being polite.
🍁“Only you could pull that off.”
Not admiration, it means nobody else would dare try this look.
In Canada🇨🇦, the most dangerous phrase is “It’s fine.”
It means the exact opposite. 😄

In these challenging times, it is more important than ever to remain vigilant in prayer, steadfast in faith, and uncompromising in our walk with God.
The enemy is constantly seeking opportunities to sow fear, confusion, division, and destruction, but as believers, we must stand our ground and refuse to give him any foothold in our lives, families, communities, and nation.
Give no place to the devil. Give room only for God to reign.

So as at today, there is a suit before the Federal High Court seeking the deregistration of NDC as a political party.
That suit was instituted by this man, Ahidjo Ibrahim Karlahi.
Not that NDC denied him the right to contest, belong to the party, or participate in any of its activities. So what exactly is his grievance?
According to Karlahi, NDC was not properly registered because, in his view, the party failed to fulfil the mandatory constitutional and statutory conditions precedent prescribed under Sections 221-225A of the Constitution and Sections 75 and 79 of the Electoral Act, 2022. These are the provisions that deal with the registration of political parties in Nigeria.
Karlahi further argued that he filed the suit with no ulterior political or personal motive, but purely in the interest of justice.
However, when one carefully considers what he seeks to achieve through this action, it becomes difficult not to arrive at a different conclusion. One is left with no option but to wonder whether he is being sponsored to bring such an action or whether he intends to use this suit to achieve unforeseen ends known only to him.
The fundamental question remains; where does Karlahi derive the locus standi to bring such an action?
Karlahi is not a member of NDC. He was not among those who registered the party. Neither was he a party to the suit that compelled INEC to register NDC.
So where exactly does he derive the legal capacity to institute a suit challenging the party's registration?
My own position is simple. When the Federal High Court finally hears this matter, it should not merely dismiss the suit.
It should dismiss it with heavy costs against the plaintiff. Such a decision would serve as a strong deterrent to meddlesome interlopers like Karlahi who seek to interfere in matters in which they have no discernible legal interest.

One MT Scholar just landed a fully funded scholarship to study in the United Kingdom.
The scholarship covers his entire tuition of £36,000, his flight up to £4000 and his stipend of around £21,000+ per annum.
In total, the scholarship is worth more than £60,000!
This is why we provide the Michael Taiwo Scholarships to bright but indigent students.
We spend, on average, about $1,000 on each scholar and they go on to access fully funded scholarships worth hundreds of thousands of dollars over the course of their graduate studies.
It is the best return on human investment I have ever seen.
Thanks to our volunteers, especially the mentors, who coach these scholars.
I'm also very grateful to those who donate. You make stories like this possible.
God bless you.
