@beffjezos Talking to Dots felt like talking to a mentally slow person. Sorry but thatโs been my experience. I downgraded from my ChatGPT Pro plan after I met Dots. Claude Max and grok super is a killer combo.
@mikekarnj I installed OpenClaw and Hermes but only ever experimented with them, never got real work done. Grok Bot took everything off my hands and made it effortless. Tried Dots too, and it felt primitive next to Grok Bot.
Europe's clocks go back tonight. The US waits until Nov 1. So for one week London is only 4 hours ahead of New York, not 5. Every recurring meeting across the Atlantic is about to land an hour off. ๐

My coding setup is a little unusual. Claude Code and Codex don't run on my Mac. They run on my AI assistant's computer, and I give them tasks from chat.
That's how @GetMeetETA MeetETA got built: city clocks, time conversion that handles daylight saving, shareable time links, and a Chrome extension.
@mattyp This is exactly what I've been hacking together on a personal plan. Shared how my bots hand work to each other through a GitHub repo, in my quote. Would love native cross-account teams ๐
Love this. On a personal plan, I got a rough version working: my teammate and I each run our own Grok Bots, and they pass work through a shared private GitHub repo. Each side has an inbox file, and the bots leave dated notes and pick them up on a schedule. Can't wait for the native version.

Feature idea: let bots on different Grok Bot accounts work as a team.
My teammate and I each have our own account and our own bots. To get them handing work to each other, we use a shared private GitHub repo with one inbox file per side. A bot adds a dated note to the other side's file, and that side picks it up on a scheduled check once or twice a day.
It works, but it's slow and a hack. Native cross-account bot teams with direct handoffs and a shared task list would make this a real team tool.
@salesoptecs@ligayabeebe@stemonte@bot yep thats the big one for me. plus i'm not wiring up the server, the cron or the inbox access myself. if you've already got a cloud server set up you're 80% there tbh
@martinhlonx@stemonte yeah syncing files is a pain. pushing to github and letting the bot pull it was way smoother for me. follow along, i'm posting my setup as i go
@martinhlonx@stemonte my code lives on github, so the bots just pull the repo onto their own computer and work there. claude code and codex run on that same box too. nothing lives in vscode on my mac anymore. if you need it on your files it can reach your machine too, but it asks each time
@martinhlonx@stemonte fair q. it runs on its own computer, not my laptop, so it can't touch my files. anything risky like sending an email or deleting stuff needs my ok first. i still check what it ships before it goes live
@salesoptecs@ligayabeebe@stemonte@bot claude does the coding. the bots handle everything around it: they run on a schedule while i'm away, read my inbox, keep track of each project, use a browser, and ping me when something needs me. claude code is the builder, the bots are the team that runs the work
@ryanvogel been in agency work 15 yrs and godaddy is still the one my clients get stuck on. ui is laggy, upsells on every click, takes 10 mins to find a setting. it just stuck around way past its time
@ligayabeebe@stemonte@bot mostly shipping my side projects. one bot built and launched meeteta (time zone tool), another is finishing biztropolis, one runs my morning inbox brief, one finds x posts for me to reply to (like this one lol). i just tell them what i want and they hand the code to claude code
