After noticing that fewer young men were accessing health services, Thabiso wanted to understand why. For many young men and young fathers, fear of judgement and harmful expectations around masculinity can make seeking healthcare feel difficult.

With support from READY+, Thabiso stepped up as a peer supporter, creating a safe and supportive space for young men and young fathers to access psychosocial support, build confidence, and feel empowered to seek the healthcare they need.

His story shows the difference young people can make when they are supported to lead change in their own communities. 💚
