I think this is the most competitive era of software development I have ever witnessed.

Everyone is shipping so fast that the users barely have enough time to adapt before a new update is shipped.

While I get that AI Powered development has significantly sped up the development process.

I think it's wise to sometimes slow down to evaluate.

There's a reason some of the big consumer tech companies focus less on shipping newer and newer features to just making stuff that works and holds up over time.

What's the point of shipping a product in 3 months that barely holds up a year after release because the founder/team doesn't know how What's going on in their code base.

Speed is good but at some point we might have to shift focus to sustainable development.
