Meet Sabrina Gonzalez Pasterski, the theoretical physicist often hailed as the modern successor to Albert Einstein. Her remarkable journey started early—at age 14, she built and flew her own single-engine airplane, showcasing the ingenuity that would define her career.

Taekwondo mom and daughter help cops nab armed robbers

When two armed robbers entered a businessman’s bungalow in Begumpet on Thursday afternoon, the Taekwondo-trained woman and her daughter fought back despite being unarmed. Today, the two men are in police custody.

Amita, trained in Taekwondo, a Korean martial arts and combat sport, recounted, "My attacker aimed the gun at me while I was unarmed. Despite this, I punched back. During the struggle, I fell, and he attempted to open fire on me. Fortunately, the gun jammed. I began shouting for help and attempted to remove his helmet."

At the same time, Amita’s daughter rushed into the living room and attacked the man.

The two robbers identified as Susheel Kumar and Premchandra from Uttar Pradesh were arrested by Hyderabad city police.

The mother and daughter duo received applause from the city and social media, while North Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Rohini Priyadarshini and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Etela Rajender felicitated them.
