Dreamt of that moment my whole life. Never have wanted anything more than to have been able to produce and come through for the team and nation in a moment like that. Unfortunately I fell short and am sorry the dream has come to an end as a result. Hurting is an understatement, but Iโll live with it and take the lessons and use them for whatever else life throws at me down the track.
Incredibly proud of the team and my teammates for their performances throughout and once again captivating the nation and creating some memories weโll all never forget.
To the staff for their commitment to providing the players with all they need to prepare and perform to the best of their abilities.
Lastly to the supporters who are always the ones who make the experiences as special as they are through the ways in which they go about supporting the team. The atmospheres in the stadiums, the footage back home of the live sites and everything in between, making all the triumphant memories all the more special, thank you ๐๐ผ.

@kodkod87@Martina@JohnCleese Amen. They are crazy these people. They want world peace and all they do is destroy everyone instead of keep your mouth shut and use your platform to go help someone in desperate need because my God some people are really struggling with life atm
Nearly all astrophysicists are atheist, which completely understand. I always hear about astronauts returning to earth with a shift in their belief. Here is another one. Quite beautiful
NEW: Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman reflects on being MOVED to tears by the Christian cross after returning to Earth from the historic expedition:
"When I got back on the on the ship โ I'm not really a religious person โ but there was just no other avenue for me to explain anything or to experience anything."
"So I asked for the chaplain on the Navy ship to just come visit us for a minute, and when that man walked in, I'd never met him before in my life. But I saw the cross on his collar, and I just broke down in tears."
"It's very hard to fully grasp what we just went through."
Good morning, world! ๐
We have spectacular new high-resolution images of our home planet, all of us looking back through the Orion capsule window at our Artemis II astronauts as they continue their journey to the Moon.
