@Original_Libbro Yeah, they do, but the U markers circumscribed to them and are non-existent outside Bantu regions. You don't find them in Western Cameroon and probably just Cameroon in general.
@Original_Libbro And the E clades for Grassfielders tend to be West African E1b1a7 modally. Bankim (Tikar) got the more primordial E1b1a. This contrasts Bantu groups who are usually E1b1a8, meaning our Bantu ancestry isn't male mediated.
@Original_Libbro It's a mix of both, in the southern Grassfields, clades like A00 are pervasive among Bangwa (40%). In the northern Grassfields you see more Chad/Sudan related clades like A3b2 although infrequent.
@G0rillaG00ner Probably why some parents treat their kids like shit. It's their first thing in their life they can have maximum control over and a valve to release their frustrations on.
@NNSilver22@Johnybreez She is claiming to be the Queen of all Tikar, yet she was coronated by a relatively unknown kingdom of Manté, which holds no real authority or prestige within the Tikar or its diaspora. She has not been granted any title or formal recognition by Bankim, the true father kingdom.
But instead of arguing for a return of social norms around marriage, the authors say that the solution to the fertility crisis lies in "further marginalization of men" (yes, that's in the title!) and getting single women to have more kids.
Does that seem likely to work? 5/5
I don't think "improves" is the right framing. It's a necessary but not sufficient condition. There are plenty of bad writers who read, but no good writers who don't
