@Maqitzara “This reverence to the dead is characterized by the Fangool, veneration of the ancestors and the saints, interceders Koox, the supreme deity who is the Sky God(in some minor cults also referred as Grandfather).”
This is just every Niger-Congoid religion
@AnthropoTube It’s mainly found in West Africa, not central. Mandinkas, an Algerian, a Barbadian, and a Cameroonian. These are all either west African or peri-west African peoples. Seems rarer in central Africa
@AnthropoTube A1b (xBT) is just a generic SAHG haplo that is also found in East African populations (Nilotes, Nuba, Nubians, etc.), probably from some ancient admix event. A1a is MUCH weirder. One clade is found in western sudannian (NOT 🇸🇩🇸🇸) pops and the other in western European pops...
@motalamematska I was mainly talking about it not coming with geneflow in Mota man himself. I do agree that there was definitely geneflow between Mota-like foragers and pastoralists but, if present in Mota, it'd have to be at extremely low levels
@n00rdung@nrmtenjoyer Yeah, you can see this when comparing how, say African Americans look to how an African dude with a single white grandparent looks.
