Lokra Battalion of #AssamRifles organised a felicitation ceremony at Lokra, Sonitpur, Assam on 29 May 2026 to honour local youth who were recently selected as Agniveers in the Indian Armed Forces after undergoing pre-recruitment training conducted by Assam Rifles. The selected candidates had earlier received free written academic coaching, physical training and mentorship from Assam Rifles during their preparation phase. The initiative was undertaken with the aim of guiding and empowering local youth aspiring to join the Armed Forces and other security organisations.
