Today, I submitted my expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 gubernatorial election. This journey is about service, responsibility, and building a Lagos that works better for every family, every business and every person that calls this state home.

MY VISIT TO THE REHABILITATION AND UPGRADE OF 60-YEAR-OLD, 330/132KV AYEDE TRANSMISSION SUBSTATION, IBADAN, OYO STATE by @fgnpcppi

1: The Project involves the rehabilitation and upgrade of the 60-year-old Ayede substation to enhance its transmission capacity and improve grid stability, particularly for Oyo State and surrounding regions.

2: Key upgrades: This project includes the construction of a new 330KV transmission line from Olorunsogo to Ayede (tee off) to improve power evacuation.

3: This project is part of a larger plan to strengthen the power transmission network in the region along with projects in Abeokuta, Offa, Onitsha and Sokoto

4: pls note that a mobile transformer was delivered to the University of Ibadan 132/33KV transmission under Ayede sub station in 2024 to enhance capacity in the University, Samonda, and surrounding areas.

5: the overall aim is to improve electricity supply to over 5 million residents in the area reducing grid vulnerabilities.

6: Ibadan covers a lot of cities as far as Shagamu, Iseyin, Iwo etc.

7: In order to address the limited capacity of Ayede substation, FG via @fgnpcppi is constructing a new 330KV at ASEJIRE backed by Siemens to boost electricity supply and stabilize national grid.

8: The President @officialABAT is working round the clock to stabilize the electricity supply guys via @fgnpcppi
