@seattledot The most important safety improvement, imho, is a minimal enforcement of the laws on Aurora and in Seattle in general. I see drivers doing crazy things every day, but I’m sure the new No Turn On Red signs will be a game changer.

It is pretty dark intersection (common issue in Seattle, pedestrian paths need to be well lit, not just the middle of an intersection), but no excuse for a driver (especially for a police officer!) to kill poor woman.
@DanSanchezRE@komonews I wonder why a lot of people see left lane camping as a main issue here. I think that driver education sucks, drivers are not trained to do even simplest things like using turn signals, or zip merge but don't have a problem showing bad manners (tailgating, road rage, etc.)
