Chaps, another good episode. Thanks.
Commiseration on the hearing loss. It's a bugger I've been coping with for 20 years. Get used to making sure you get into meetings first so you can choose a seat that favours your good ear :-)
@Dick_Puddlecote Weak and feeble are often used interchangeably, but I believe all the evidence shows that feeble-minded is the appropriate term in the case of the Scots who continually get manipulated into voting for Nicoleon Gnometard.
@PeterLattimer@richardcalhoun@Telegraph At the end of the day the point is - Still - wanting a law affecting thousands just to stop one idiot is draconian and counterproductive. The police already have a law. They need to use it. Not demand more ways to fuck with us all.
@PeterLattimer@richardcalhoun@Telegraph Insurance is a necessary evil. Whether for pet, home, car or life, it's to mitigate an inability to fund the unforeseen. If you can't afford to pay for a worst case scenario event you should insure whether it's a legal req or not or you can end up broke and indentured.
The number of times I saw the "it's a private company" meme during Musk/Twitter and the "now do 'my body my choice' for vaccines" meme today prove that the twitter right is as big a hive mind of tedious borg dipshits as the left is.
@PeterLattimer@richardcalhoun@Telegraph 1) As a guy who says he self-spanners and runs cars on a budget, be very careful about wishing for a TuV style system of control
2) Yes, lots of companies self-insure & individuals who can provably afford the legal costs of an unforseen event shouldn't need to get a policy either
@TheSimonEvans Absolutely - it's the killer feature: using AI to combine my own listening history with those of people who have a similar set of preferences and coming up with new servings.
