@resfoundation Anybody with two jobs earning say £12500 per job would be far worse off. NI would be unchanged and Income Tax would increase by 2%. This would be very damaging to all the poor sods who have to do two low-paid jobs.

@PensionCraft @AndreaisonX What a disappointing take. The media in general is always negative on Trump. Remember, at one time the majority of experts said the world was flat.

The fact is, "the majority" of economists, scientiests, or any other kind of academic ALWAYS agree. And they're frequently wrong.

@PensionCraft When we discuss "how would you have done being invested in this index during this period" I think something that's missed is that fees were sky-high compared to now. Huge chunks of the market profits in the 70s, 80s, 90s etc went on fees. Few studies reflect this
