Frank Frazetta’s Swords of Mars and Synthetic Men of Mars (1966) is currently on display at the Haggin Museum as part of The Korshak Collection: Illustrations of Imaginative Literature.
The exhibition brings together nearly 100 original paintings, drawings, and etchings spanning more than a century of published illustration. Frazetta’s work for Burroughs played such an important role in how generations of readers came to visualize these fantastic worlds, so it is wonderful to see this original included in an exhibition exploring the power and history of imaginative illustration.
If you’re near Stockton, California, you can see the exhibition at the Haggin Museum through August 16, 2026.

Frank Frazetta didn’t paint every detail. He painted the illusion of every detail. It’s one of the reasons his work feels so alive decades later. Comic art specialist, Taffeta Darling breaks down the masterful misdirection, atmospheric color, and visual storytelling that made Frazetta one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.
@Beretta_USA Amazing pistol please give us some good holster options for the centurion/compact with and without a light. Unfortunately impossible to find a duty holster. And limited for inside the waist band.
