I think in relationships, you create an environment with your own work on yourself, which you offer to another human being to use to grow in the way they need to grow. Parents are environments for their children, lovers are an environment for their partners.
You keep working – you become the soil – moist and soft and receptive so the person can grow the way they need to grow, because how do you know how they should grow?

the star is one of my favorite cards because to me it signifies how the final act of becoming yourself is owning that your darkness is also full of light
"We say: the soul is not from elsewhere, the soul is elsewhere, wearing flesh like a traveler's cloak, learning the weight of mud, the taste of tears, the laughter of children, before it goes back to seed the stars."
@selentelechia Like labor, each challenge with kids passes fairly quickly. With patience and perseverance, you find reward on the other side.
A tree that grows with no adversity will eventually collapse under its own weight
I did. I saved it in a moment, in a sincere smile. I said the right thing. I extended grace. I was patient. I danced. I looked for the good and when I found it, I fed it and watched it grow. Saving the world is a thankless task that involves choosing love over fear at each intersection. Small ripples can turn into waves darling.
