Our hope is that this #iPSC toolbox will contribute to a better molecular-level understanding of inclusion pathologies in neurodegeneration. Personalized stem cell models can now be generated from individual patients for diagnostic and therapeutic screening purposes. 9/9

#Genetic-modifier and #protein-interaction screens pinpointed #RNA-processing and #actin cytoskeleton-modulator proteins like RhoA whose sequestration into inclusions could enhance toxicity. These toxic RhoA/aSyn-positive inclusions occurred in Parkinson’s brain as well. 8/9
