The British were very confident that they could blockade America/Union and planned for the bombardment and seizure of New York, and Washington as they had done in 1814.
I don't care what a lot of people who think we should be handcuffed to the North Atlantic say, doing these deployments every 5 years or so is worth its weight in gold.
