So why do this ride? Many reasons: bucket list want to do since teens, still got health, remind of where came from (small IL town, KS parents) & talk about climate change & transportation. In US & other indust economies trans @ 40% CO2 emissions w private vehicles @ 70% of that.

9 years ago today we lost the great Mayor Menino. One of my favorite memories of him was writing a letter inviting Mayor Menino to my 8th grade graduation at the Hurley. He responded himself with a letter, and actually showed up to the graduation with no staff, and gave me a shoutout in his speech. His style of leadership and his love for this city is the reason why I’m now running my self for his old District 5 seat.
