Councillors in Devon will debate a motion proposed by the Greens to ban meat & dairy. The motion is virtue signalling and the council should instead focus on supporting local farmers who are the backbone of the local economy, environment, and rural communities. Share if you agree
I promised to donate my entire net MP salary to local Great Yarmouth charities/worthy causes if elected as Reform MP and that's exactly what I'm doing. The first recipient will be the community arm of Great Yarmouth Town FC - renovating various club facilities which will help them to properly build for the future and continue delivering for the community.
Roughly £4,000, not including gift aid, will be donated.
From my time as Chairman of Southampton, I know just how vital these local clubs are to the community. They are incredibly important assets, and should be treated as such. Great Yarmouth Town’s efforts in helping to encourage young children into sport, and off the streets, should be commended.
Through significantly improving their facilities, this will enable the club to generate more income and then use those funds to properly build for the future of Great Yarmouth Town FC.
I have met the Chairperson, Martyn, and I was inspired by his commitment to the local town. I am absolutely delighted to play a small part in helping the club financially.
