Geographically, Israel is in a profoundly weak strategic position. At its widest point, it is only 71 miles (114 kilometers) across; at its narrowest point, it is only nine miles across. Israel has no defensive space. It has little ability to withdraw, regroup and counterattack. Defensive depth is essential to national security. It determines how much time there is to recover from an initial attack. Space and time are essential to war.
Ignoring the emergence of drones, Israel cannot tolerate a defeat at its border, because a defeat would give it, at most, 71 miles in which to retreat. From this flows a specific military logic. Israel has to prevent attacks by initiating combat, and it has to be able to defeat its enemy early in a war. For Israeli leaders, it follows that the Israel Defense Forces always have to be significantly more powerful than potential enemies. The idea that Israel would never face a force more powerful than its own has always been improbable. During the 1973 attack by Egypt and Syria (which were armed and coordinated by the Soviet Union), Israel came perilously close to disaster. It was saved by the fact that Egyptian, Syrian and Soviet planners had failed to anticipate their dramatic early successes and had no plans to fully defeat Israel and seize its land.

🇺🇸 NYC, May 31, 2026: A 23 year old Jewish woman sent CAM footage of her assault on a subway train.
Around 2:15 PM, a woman told her she could “smell the babies” she had eaten and yelled that “Jews eat babies” before choking her, throwing her to the ground, and beating her.
You win some, you lose some.
Canada lost Dr. Emmanuel Moss, a brilliant Chief of cardiac surgery in a Montreal hospital who is leaving Canada due to rising antisemitism.
Dr. Moss will be gone but now Canada has Naveed Awan, a pro Palesitinian organizer from Pakistan who became famous for harassing Canadian Jews in their neighborhoods.
Canadians need to understand this is a choice too many of them made by being silent about Antisemitism.
The simple fact of this case is that the police thought Henry Nowak was a racist and that meant that they did not feel obligated to extend to him any form of human decency
They killed him because someone accused him of racism
That @SenSchumer prefers a Nazi sympathizer, racist, Communist and misogynist like Graham Platner over a well-respected senator who votes like a centrist Democrat tells you how far left the Democrat Party has moved.
Senators Schumer and Gillibrand responded to the Graham Platner scandals by simply saying that he would deliver Maine and give them back Senate control. In other words, we found the right Nazi-tattooed, sex-texting, rape-dismissing, veteran-defaming, self-proclaimed communist...
How in the hell has a defense witness in the 1993 WTC bombing, with ties to Al-Qaeda been nominated by the Democrats to serve in Congress?
If elected in November, Congress should fully investigate his ties to terrorist organizations and determine whether he is fit to serve.
As an Iranian inside Iran, I feel like I have to speak out because at least on the surface, things seem grim.
Trump said he had a "good call with Hezbollah" and again just said that "we seem to be getting along quite well with the Ayatollah. I would like to meet him."
Is this the same Trump who took out Khamenei senior and boasted about it? The one who stared down the regime?
We Iranians didn’t rise up, bleed in the streets, lose over 40,000 souls in the fight against this regime — just so America could cut deals and “get along” with the Ayatollah.
You didn’t have to offer help. But you did. We trusted you. We put you front and center in the plan to finally end this nightmare.
This reversal? It’s nothing short of betrayal. I still have hope, but if everything is just as it seems then it's over.
If this is some 4D chess by Trump to wind everyone up, it better have a damn good punchline coming — because right now it looks like weakness, and weakness only invites more IRGC terror, more dead civilians, and more delay on the day the Lion and Sun finally rises.
Iranians are watching. There is still time to set things right, but the window is closing.
Jewish Billionaire investor Bill Ackman, whose net worth is estimated at over $9 billion, has donated more than $930 million to charity, reflecting the longstanding Jewish tradition of giving away 10% of one’s wealth.
Through the Pershing Square Foundation, Ackman has funded research in Alzheimer’s, cancer, neuroscience, education, and other major global challenges.
Forbes recently recognized Ackman as one of the world’s leading philanthropists, naming him to its inaugural “Iconoclast 50” list for reshaping philanthropy through bold and unconventional giving.
We should all learn from Bill & @NeriOxman
Is the proper name for what you’ve just said where you invert both sides of the proposition, logic dyslexia or dyslexic logic?
Iran is attacking many countries, while Israel is defending itself against the Iranian proxy that terrorizes and occupies Lebanon and attacks it from Lebanese territory. Most Lebanese (and Iranians) actually want Israel to liberate Lebanon.
It's the same with the January massacre. If 50,000 were had been killed by Mossad, the media wouldn't stop talking about it. But since it was the regime itself, the world is silent.
The more time President Trump gives this terrorist regime and the more he legitimizes it, the more attacks they commits.

Shouldn’t you know the answer to that, or change your screen name?
Sometimes the State of Israel speaks for the nation-state (of which I’m not a citizen) and sometimes it speaks for the people (Nation) Israel which I am.
A Jew would know the difference between internal affairs and religious affairs.
I can have an opinion, but I can’t tell Israel what to do, I’m not a citizen, tax payer or IDF member. But Israel has no right to trade away the eternal capital of Eretz Yisrael.
Caroline Glick knows both well and would be an extraordinary Consul General.
I have known @CarolineGlick for twenty-five years, and know most of her extended family as well (she is a cousin of the judge I clerked for). She grew up in a Conservative synagogue, and her family spans religious spectrum of American judaism. She has shown nothing but respect for all denominations.
She also happens to be one of the most effective defenders of the Jewish people - and a powerful critic of the conflation of Jewish values and progressive ideology. This makes her a perfect choice for consul general in NYC now. It also explains why some are trying to derail her nomination.
Former JNS-TV host Caroline Glick wouldn’t be the safe choice for the post of Israel's consul general in New York or one that would earn @Netanyahu the applause of the liberal establishment in either country, writes @jonathans_tobin, but she would be the right one.

Want to know who whispers in Washington's ear on Middle East affairs? Look at a country that has long benefited from its proximity to Iran while giving a platform to voices sympathetic to Hamas and Hezbollah. The answer is easier than many think.
Whenever I spend 1 minute looking into the facts, the truth always turns out to be totally different than what anti-Israel obsessives imply.
The headline is painting a narrative that Israel has perhaps intentionally sabotaged Trump's negotiations by attacking Iran.
Israel—boo! They're controlling us!
But I found it odd that the headline didn't say Israel attacked Iran, but merely began a "fresh bombing campaign." Smells like potential narrative manipulation by omission.
Turns out that my intuition was correct. Israel did not bomb Iran, they bombed Hezbollah in Lebanon. And they did it because Hezbollah launched dozens of rockets and drones at Israel on May 30-31. So it makes total sense why Israel began a "fresh bombing campaign."
In other words, the Daily Mail manipulated a story about Israel responding to attacks by Iran's terror proxy into a headline designed to make people believe Israel purposefully decided to sabotage Trump’s diplomacy with Iran by attacking them unprovoked.
It's a perfect example of how a headline can be factually correct in a very narrow sense by omitting context to serve as reality-inverting propaganda.
"Oh," you fell for a psyop that takes 1 minute to debunk?
Congratulations.
