@deablosantos @mrsDugskullery I did dozens of these VOs in the early 90s. Many actors from all parts the North, with lots of different regional accents did them too. I think you’re doing the journalists a disservice by suggesting they tried to make GA sound smicky.

@deablosantos @mrsDugskullery Utter nonsense. I was one of the (many) actors who voiced GA and lots of other SF representatives, and I’m a big culchie from Coleraine! The broadcasting ban ran from 1988-94, not throughout the 80s.
