Trump is going to get way, way worse. 👇🏼
John Thune will be held accountable for this.
He could have walked into the White House with Schumer and a few others and said — knock it off.
You can't send civilization-ending tweets.
Get someone in charge or we're building a coalition to remove you.
That would have worked because here's what people don't understand about Trump.
He hates people who kiss his ass.
I know this man. He respects people who stand up to him.
Yet nobody will because they think it'll cost them their careers.
So nothing happens and it gets worse.
And when something truly catastrophic occurs — and it will — these same people will come running out saying the emperor has no clothes.
Our adversaries are shaking their heads.
Wondering how one man was allowed to wreak this kind of havoc on a country like this.
It's embarrassing.
Sure, you got a war with Iran, high gas prices, tariffs, rampant corruption, an incompetent, lickspittle cabinet, a useless congress, pardons for Jan 6 insurrectionists who are all committing new, horrific crimes, inflation, no job creation…BUT, BUT, BUT…there’s a ballroom.
Let me tell you exactly what Fox figured out in 1993.
Roger Ailes looked around and asked — who’s the threat?
Not Bill Clinton, the threat is Hillary Clinton.
They spent billions of dollars over decades destroying her narrative.
By the time she ran for president 51% of the country had a negative opinion of her before she said a word on the campaign trail.
That’s the playbook.
Now ask yourself — where’s the threat today? California.
The fourth largest economy in the world. Agriculture, Defense, Hollywood, Silicon Valley, AI. — which is literally the exportation of American culture globally.
A politician coming out of California from the left could beat the right decisively.
So what do you do?
Spend billions destroying the narrative around California.
Make it synonymous with crime and homelessness and radical politics.
Do it for two or three decades until the brand is toxic.
Newsom has an image problem today the exact same way Hillary had an image problem.
It was manufactured. Deliberately. Systematically.
Most of you will hate me saying this, but I will say it anyway.
The Democrats are in complete disarray and have no coherent message.
No real solutions. Just anti-Trump rhetoric on a loop.
And listen — I understand the anti-Trump sentiment. I share a lot of it.
But that is not a governing platform. That is not a vision for the country.
And it is not going to win elections.
Talk to your constituents about affordability.
About raising living standards. About the wealth gap that is tearing this country apart at the seams.
Here’s the hard truth: If we don’t fix the wealth gap through traditional American capitalism, we will have a populist leader on the left or a populist leader on the right in perpetuity.
And that is genuinely dangerous for the country.
Trump looks imperious right now. Looks invincible. I understand why people are scared.
But he’s got 36 months.
He can do a lot of damage in 36 months. I won’t minimize that.
But it is 36 months.
The question is whether the opposition uses that time to build something real or spends it screaming into the void.
Is it a coincidence that a $1.5 billion oil trade was placed just minutes before Donald Trump announced a major Iran development? No one knows for sure, but check out my breakdown at the YouTube link in my reply.
It is so difficult to understand why Trump launched his Iran operation - an op so clearly damaging to US national interests, the global economy, Ukraine and the US’ closest allies in Europe and the Gulf.
Then there is this….
I have one question for the Republican Party today.
Where is your backbone?
Thune. McConnell. All of them. Where are you?
Mitch McConnell is 84 years old. He has nothing left to lose. No more elections to win. No more favors to collect. No more political future to protect.
And he can’t stand up and say this is not what the United States of America stands for?
George Washington is literally on the wall behind you people.
The man who voluntarily gave up power when he could have kept it forever.
The man who warned us — in his farewell address — about exactly this kind of person.
And you can’t find the words?
We have removal procedures in this country for a reason. The founders didn’t put them there for decoration.
They put them there because they had read enough history to know that men like this would eventually come.
They built the exit door. All you have to do is use it.
But instead Thune shuffles his papers. McConnell stares at the floor. And the rest of them calculate their primary margins and call it leadership.
This isn’t complicated. This is a spine test.
And the Republican Party is failing it in real time.
"Six months ago the Navy decommissioned its four Avenger-class minesweepers that had been stationed in Bahrain precisely to deal with Iranian mines.
It gets dumber: Those four final American minesweepers left the theater in mid-January."

Anthony Scaramucci: There's something called Citizens United, where, since January of 2010, you're allowed to give unlimited money to the politicians. It's up eight times and 36% of the donations are coming from the top 0.1%.
Monopoly busting is something that was done in the beginning, and we're not doing it anymore because of the undue influence of these people.
