Excited to hear what you think of my latest work! #preprint
Do we need to re-think the way we approach #biomarker discovery in #PDAC or even cancer overall?!
Read about how we have combined #multiomics with new models of #PancreaticCancer ๐ more on the models to come soon ๐
We are excited to welcome you to the Glasgow Pancreatic Cancer Symposium on Fri 3rd May where you will have the opportunity to hear from superstars like @lauradelongwood, @BarbaraGrnwald, @M_C_Schmid, @graokane, @pilar_acedo and many more! Register here: https://t.co/KRXDERy7TJ
Over the moon to get a poster prize at #EDxConf23. Thank you so much to all involved! Cracking few days full of great research and amazing people #reinvigoratedcancerresearcher ๐
Interested in early detection of #PancreaticCancer ? Join the fantastic Marta Canel (@Marta_Serrels) from my lab on her journey investigating how genetic background impacts biomarker expression. RA position available! See ๐for details.
๐ very grateful to @CR_UK for their support to develop this work!
If you are interested in joining us, we have an open RA position! Please reach out! @EdinUni_IGC@EdinCRC
Please RT! We are looking for a bioinformatician taking up the analysis of multi-omics analysis with the pancreatic, and colorectal cancer datasets. Please take a look!
Deeply saddened by the loss of Jeff. An inspirational mentor and fantastic scientist! He will live on through his legacy. Heartfelt condolences to his family.
We are deeply saddened by the passing of our group leader, Prof. Jeffrey Pollard. Jeff was a passionate scientist and an outstanding mentor who will be sorely missed. We will continue his legacy through our ongoing research. Our thoughts are with his wife Ooi Thye and the family.
Lastly, we note that this role for FAK is independent of its kinase activity but requires nuclear translocation. Therefore, next generation FAK targeted therapies aimed at protein degradation may offer additional therapeutic benefit for the treatment of PDAC.
