🇵🇱🇮🇷 Poland has seized one ton of Iranian heroin worth $60 million.

This is Poland's largest anti-narcotics operation in over a decade.

Polish authorities have seized roughly one ton of heroin originating from Iran with an estimated market value of nearly $60 million.

The illegal cargo arrived at the Baltic seaport of Gdynia.

Smugglers hid the heroin inside a large shipment of decorative bricks.

According to the Ministry of the Interior, the total volume of narcotics intercepted by Poland's Central Investigation Bureau has skyrocketed by 650% since 2022, with over 83 tons of illegal substances confiscated in the first half of 2023 alone.
