@Kc3Snr honestly fantastic gear, the filtering is superb, the audio both out and in is awesome, the sensitivity is second to none, this maxon hears more than my yaesu! So does my Tait tm8110.. the tait cost me £30 on Ebay, I had it reprogrammed and working in minuites brilliant stuff!

New to ham radio in the UK? On a budget? You can't go far wrong with stuff like this! A MAXON pm150 16ch VHF.. this one is on uk 2M band (i have another on 4M band) and they can be acquired VERY cheaply, typically £30 - £50 other brands too like tait, Motorola and Philips too!...

..Full 25W FM output, great audio, some are cable programmable so can be changed to suit, and they are disgustingly cheap! For someone starting out with limited means and wanting 2m or 70cms stuff like this is the way forward, I love them! And have quite a collection now! 73..

@POAnatchair Violent prisoners in other countries are not allowed 1 on 1 interaction with ANYONE unless they are secured personally they have a flap in cell doors to apply cuffs through before a cell is entered or an inmate is allowed out.. we're WAY to soft in the UK, and this is the result
