@LeanneHPatrick Surely all nurses regardless of gender should be seeking consent before any care/procedure/assessment etc. with a patient!! Scary that some male nurses think this is not necessary.
It’s easy to think “it’s just a few minutes.” But as the number of people that you hold up increases, the true cost of being late scales rapidly. Being 10 mins late to a meeting with 10 others is 100 minutes. I'm doing some work on improving meeting practice currently so this sketch speaks to me. Another nurse has died by suicide this Monday. Less than a week before the holidays. She was an ICU/ER nurse with 2 kids. She showed up to work just days before, bubbly and talking about her Christmas plans.
