@SPCPartyPatrol As my handle reads, I'm an Alaska Air flyer and not the actual company but here's my experience, if you call Alaska Air and talk to an agent they will give you a period of time to regain your status. During this period of time, they will reinstate your previous status.

The status levels are based on the total miles flown in a calendar year. However, if you fly more than a million miles in your lifetime, you receive MVP Gold status for life.
