I've purchased Minecraft on iOS (for my daughter), Android (so I could play with her on SteamDeck - but it no longer works), PS4 (waste of money because you can't play on LAN without paying $13 a month), and on Windows (MS Store is horrible). @Microsoft have fallen so far.
Just released Turrican 2 AGA for the #AMIGA. Re-programmed from scratch, it is a free conversion of the PC-DOS version. 24bit/256 colours. New features. Get it here: https://t.co/3YDf9Qgy3D
The greater problem with distinguished journals like the Lancet allowing compromised individuals such as Daszak to coordinate a letter claiming a lab leak was a conspiracy is that people will inevitably have eroded faith in scientists and scientific institutions.
@liveplusplus I’m still periodically updating a game that is 32 bit only. Clearly I’m in the minority and I don’t use 32 bit everyday but even so, the loss of live++ for it would be a pain.
This tribute to Australia by Andrew Hamilton of @EmbarkStudios in @UnrealEngine is nothing short of breathtaking. What an absolutely humbling piece.

MEGATHREAD TIME: In 40 tweets I will describe 40 powerful concepts for understanding the world. Some are complex so forgive me for oversimplifying, but the main purpose is to incite curiosity. Okay, here we go:
A Jewish Labour supporter reads Corbyn statements and actions to Corbyn supporters with one change - he attributes them to Boris Johnson. That makes all the difference. Until they learn the truth. Punch line at the end https://t.co/kpPWLbdqld
I didn't localise for Russia, so its rare to get 5 star reviews from that region. This one was a nice surprise but apparently I need to add a bagel to the game. 🤔
22 years and 6 major Windows versions later, a game I once wrote still works perfectly.
Two apps I wrote LAST YEAR are now a buggy piece of useless crap after the macOS update.
Amazing engineering by MS. Doesn't make you think twice which platform to support as developer.
Somehow, the Millennium Bug has passed into man-down-the-pub mythology as an example of fearmongering "experts" getting it wrong, when in fact the non-disaster was a triumph of expertise and forward planning. https://t.co/R3nCs4LK1o
For every Google API I use in my games I have to allow for a rewrite, test and update every 6 to 12 months in perpetuity because Google will deprecate the API and replace it with something no better. How many programmer manhours are wasted worldwide due to this? #AndroidDev
Egregious: A math paper that tries to explain a fascinating fact (greater male variability) is censored. Again the academic left loses its mind: Ties equality to sameness, erodes credibility of academia, & vindicates right-wing paranoia. https://t.co/YKEktMKJUL via @QuilletteM
