@theaeonal@EscorcioThomas Only because Jamboree TV is treated as its own seperate game within the game ala Bowser's Fury, instead of being implemented with the rest of ir. The only thing that sets apart the Switch 2 release is poor side content that doesn't bring anything different to the preexisting game
@theaeonal@EscorcioThomas Jamboree is the only game I where I exclusively counted the Switch 2 original content here, just because of the way the product was structured in-game. The others are counted in full
@anthony_ce54260 Yup, I grew up playing the DKC trilogy a ton when I was little. Probably my favourite set of 2D platformers. And yes, the final stretch of Bananza was an absolute dream come true
@Angelobeta99 It definitely got monotonous a lot quicker than Odyssey, first for being overstimulating, and then later for getting a little too broken once you got all Bananza powers. Still was a great game tho
Words cannot contain my excitement for this.
If I get Mario Kart World DLC, Kirby: Planet Robobot Deluxe and Super Mario Maker 3, I will be joyous regardless of the rest of the outcome.
Hoping for the 9th...
Don't take my word for it but I'm incredibly certain we might get an announcement for a Kirby: Planet Robobot Deluxe in a Direct this month.
Yeah yeah, Nate said it was slated for 2025... he was also barely off with Star Fox' announcement window though so it's on the table...
At the end of the day it would've been dumb to release another Switch 1 title (as it was rumoured to be) in the year that the Switch 2 came out (especially when there already were two Kirby products specifically for it at that time anyways).
Just my take but Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is what happens when you max out all your stats on course quantity and then put in almost nothing in the other categories.
The only official 2D Mario game I could genuinely and comfortably call really great.
It's still held back in ways 2D Mario games normally are but it's the most innovative and charming it's also been.
