@TJoTZ @houston_tsta I resigned as advised by my HFT union rep. She was told we were going to lose the case anyway so best to resign. We did it, bc caught at emotional moment. Union should sue Miles for not following spot chk rules and so teachers look like low performers. They put any # not top 6.

@houston_tsta @Hisdwatchwatch1 Had same letter. Union advise d 4 at our school to resign bc we were going to loose case anyway. One principal said headquarters asking them for a list of teachers to fire. I guess those teachers who dare defend kids and teachers. So making list of not open minded people.

@HoustonPress @houston_tsta Because I was unaware of how Spot checks would affect me, I didn't refute them. When I asked about MOY numbers, admin wasn't transparent. Now that I had to have a Conference for the record, I wasn't given top 6 scores, they chose lower ones to make me look like low performer.

@HoustonPress @houston_tsta One principal was told to resign or wouldn't be able to work again anywhere. They demanded she turned in a list of undesirable teachers. She refused to do it. Principal was crying in front of the faculty as she was telling them them what had happened.

@HOUmanitarian At my elementary school the regular English teachers will be teaching the bilingual students. The bilingual teacher left was placed as the science/social studies teacher. The kids will not have support. Federal law is being infringed. Reps. please add this law to your complaint.

First they came for the librarians. I didn't speak out bc I wasn't a librarian. Then they came for teachers, principals etc, but I didn't speak out . Then they came for my children, but there wasn't anyone left to speak for them.
