@buddy_falcon We laughed cause we knew what they were talking about and what the state of affairs was at the jail. By that time Williams had sent out a memo threatening peoples jobs if even minor mistakes were made.
@buddy_falcon I'm not sure why they brought in someone from the outside to be commander over the jail. I remember being in the jail in Travis for work and they saw our patches and asked about Williams. We kinda just laughed it off while they called him a kiss-ass.
@buddy_falcon@tplohetski @JodyBarrKXAN @cosbo4@WilcoSun@impactnews_geo@HillCountryNws@WilcoK9 @WilCoSheriffPIO @tony78230 I met Jones briefly while working at the jail. I remember him asking me if I was prior military (I'm not and told him so) and he told me I had a professional demeanor. No one had said that to me before and I was glad he noticed. I'm sorry to hear this happened to him.
@pulte Need help covering rent next month. Help please! $maribarc. Been out of a job for almost 2 months. I'm hoping to land a job I interviewed for last week but need help until then.
@pulte I'm out of a job recently and uncertain about how I will pay my bills within a month or two. Hoping to land a job soon but worrying out of my mind until then. Maybe you see this and can help a bit!
@buddy_falcon@headfonejack@tplohetski I have to say the narrative around this story seems a little one sided. People don't flee because they have nothing to hide.
@SheriffChody This is a great time to prove to the citizens of Wilco that you mean it when you say you're about transparency. If everything was done by the book there's no reason to fear an open records request.
