More reports why Sony is trying to end physical discs:

- They want to cut out the middle man, to make more profit per sale (like remove walmart cuts etc)
- Sony thinks the fanbase will not switch platforms, they can do what they please without losing fans
- They are convinced by ignoring this issue, they fans will just accept the changes and convert to 100% digital with time.
- Sony thinks they are "too big to have commination with fans". Talking to fans has no margin benefit, so they refuse to address fans and will keep doing so

I have lost all trust and goodwill with PlayStation, no words what is happening right now. Horrible company

The whole point of digital was to get it at a discount. 3rd thing is Playstation has already gotten rid of many games. I challenge you to look for any NBA 2k before 2021.

@iCrazyTeddy The last thin I will say is noone is buying physical games because people are also not buying as many games. Gamers went from buying 5+ games per year (some preorders), to maybe now 2 per year(ONLY if it has reviews and gameplay)

@iCrazyTeddy Also we need to stop with the lies. 80% of all ps5 consoles sold were ones with disc readers. So even if you didnt intend to use it for games you also did it for dvd's or other similar forms of media. Just because you only buy 1 physical game per year does not mean anything.

Also he can avoid the Fomo and hopefully getting a discount or a patched up version. Point is consoles will lose out a good portion of sales due to greed.

When they remove a game you cannot download it unless you have the disc.

@PokeTCGAlerts @MonaLiSauce For me it works only if I add from browser. I then Check out from the app. The browser has a delayed reaction but eventually if you can get the message to pop up continue until you get the green light. Do not try to add a second item until the 2nd check out page.
